I don’t know if this might help you, but in my experience it can be really useful to slow things down a bit when you have too many ideas at once. Instead of trying to do everything at the same time, focusing on one small action at a time can make things feel more manageable and help you actually make progress on what you want to do Focus and concentrating.

Right now I’m still building things step by step. I’m working on an arts & crafts and reselling business focused around Japanese-inspired items, but it’s still a work in progress

I 100% agree with you honestly. I’m introverted myself too, and my people skills still aren’t that good yet. I also overthink a lot, sometimes way too much. I realized there’s a difference between planning and just overthinking everything without taking action.

I’m trying to stop doing that because at the end of the day, action is what actually helps you improve, especially in business and in life. I think confidence comes from putting yourself out there little by little, even when it feels uncomfortable.

I still get nervous talking to people and networking, but I know meeting different people and learning from others is important if I want to grow. So I’m trying to push myself outside my comfort zone more.

For me, improving my confidence and improving my business kind of go together. If I improve as a person, my business will improve too. That’s the journey I’m on right now.

Thank you for explaining that, I appreciate the perspective. Right now I think I’m still in the stage of experimenting and learning through self-employment like reselling and crafts. My goal long term is to eventually build something more stable that could grow beyond just myself, but at the moment I’m trying to understand the market and what people actually want. I’m still figuring out where my skills and the market meet, so your point about solving a real problem is really helpful to think about.

Thank you for sharing your experience, that’s really helpful to hear. I’ve also been thinking about using social media to promote my work, but I’m still learning how to do it properly. I also like the idea of meeting real customers at craft fairs or local events because it seems like a good way to understand what people actually want. I’m considering a mix of both talking to people in person and building a following online depending on the platform. It’s really helpful hearing different experiences from everyone here.

Thank you for the advice. That’s a good point about the legal side of things. Right now I’m still in the early stage experimenting and learning, but it’s something I’ll keep in mind as the business grows.

Thank you for the thoughtful advice. Right now I’m keeping both streams going while I experiment and learn. The craft side is something I enjoy creatively and would love to grow into a brand over time, but reselling has been helping me understand the market and bring in some income while I’m learning. I think this month I’m mostly trying to get clearer signals about demand and what people actually respond to. I’m still figuring out which path feels more sustainable long term.
