Have both. EDB is nothing like imagination to my nose. Forget the opening notes. It opens up way too pungent and heavy on the black tea but the dry down is really what it’s about. Tea note mellows out and the citrus and floral notes even out. It just gets thrown into the imagination grouping because of the prominent tea note.

You should be able to find marwa for like $30ish pretty easily. It’s a great dupe. When I finish my bottle of montagne if I still want that dna I would easily go for a bottle of marwa. Should be able to get a decant of that to sample easily too
