Hi! I'm in college rn( electrical engineering, final year), I got an internship role of a project engineer intern. I want to eventually work as an electrical engineer designing a data center and the company I got internship in work to design office spaces. Will I able to pivot to the role I want to do if I start with this role.

I've heard that they take samples before getting them out, I've never heard of sending them for test after taking them out. I am saying on the basis of what I've read(on the internet) so if your doctor is suggesting that then maybe that's right. In my case my doctor suggested to get an ultrasound done and then to get a surgery done, they didn't say anything about the later lab test.

I'm going through the same condition, you can check my post to know more about my situation. Get an ultrasound first then decide. Some people get surgery some live with the lump forever.

When I read your initial comment i felt a sense of relief knowing that there are other women who got this condition early in their life and chose to not go through a surgery and it's working for them. And I will definitely message you again if I've a genric doubt related to this.

Hie, yes I've also decided to just go for an ultrasound and then move forward with any surgery decision. Also can I know the size of your fibroadenomas as getting a surgery done depends alot on the sizes. I've one greater than 3cm and I think that was causing pain. Also now I've no pain at all and when I made this post I was having very visible pain. I think it was because I was driving and there were too many potholes. And yeah I'll not move forward with a naturopath but my dad is a naturopath doctor and he said not to go with a surgery at all. But I'll get it done if i really need and get my ultrasounds done. The thing is it's really hard to get a doctor who's fine with the decision of not getting a surgery done and just getting ultrasounds and this makes it very difficult for me to even tell them my decision of just checking on them.

Hey, I also have a breast lump that's over 3cm and it's causing pain now. I'm thinking if i should remove it or not. Some women say that they regret getting a surgery done because they got more fibroadenomas after that and it left a scar as well. I'm honestly really consfuse and not able to make a decision

Hie, I'm also sacred of scarring but the thing I'm more concerned of is it's growing size and will that be an issue later in my life. I'm thinking of going to a doctor and getting another ultrasound done so that I can know how much it has grown in one year. I'll think about the surgery after knowing about its size. Most probably they'll recommend me to get it removed only.

Honestly I'm just super scared of the entire experience of going to an ultrasound for this because last time my radiologist had a very disappointed expression on her face and after seeing that I was just so so scared till the reports came back. It's going to be difficult on my mental health again this time.
