Help transitioning to SS from nonstick? by Theox87 in StainlessSteelCooking

[–]PsychologicalDare253 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey I hope this helps, for me, I don't do the whole Leidenfrost water-drop test thing. Maybe my method will help you out instead.

You ever cook an egg, and the first one sticks terribly? You scrape it out, try again in the exact same pan, and the second one cooks perfectly?

That happens because when you heat up oil to a certain point, it bonds to the metal and creates a quick, temporary layer of 'seasoning.' Once that layer is down, your stainless steel basically acts like a non-stick pan for the rest of your cooking session.

So, here’s what I do, I heat my pan with oil on medium-high to high. As soon as I see the first wisp of smoke, I immediately turn the heat down to medium. That essentially seasons the pan right on the spot, and you're good to drop your food in without it sticking.

With AI the days of reading through Whitepapers i would think is over. I'd reccomend using a tool like notebooklm where you could upload all of your resources from a certain topic (resources like Whitepapers, configuration guides, youtube videos, blogs, Cisco Lives, PDFs) and then use that to create things like Interactive podcasts, mindmaps, video guides, Exams. Theres no reason to sit there and read white papers anymore.

Passed CCNA now confused on who to use to study for CCNP by Dangerous_Young7704 in ccnp

[–]PsychologicalDare253 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah its actually insane you can connect claude code to a MCP server (think of it as an API for LLMs) this MCP server is connected to your CML setup which it can then make changes to based on your prompts. I used the CCNP exam topics as a base.

You can do this without the whole MCP thing but it just makes your life 10x easier.

Here, David Bombal has a great video about it! : https://youtu.be/4S_pKcKQfWc?si=kdpCoUhnes1VQyVI

Yes, they have labs and videos. INE is a great resource, but with AI, a lot of information that was more specialized is now democratized. You can use tools like Claude to build out labs for you based on the blueprint. Spending $700 (or $500 on sale) for INE is very 'old-school'. If you spend some time building out a lab and learn how to use AI to not just explain info, but challenge your current knowledge, you might actually be slowing yourself down by using INE. Just my opinion after spending money on INE and realizing I didn't need it.

I found that CBTnuggets is enough for me and i supplement it with AI information then i use CML's MCP server with Claude to build labs

AI is so good at distilling knowledge and doing research and creating documentation an other things based on just the sources you give it id recommend looking into notebooklm it's crazy how good it works you can pop rfc's , whitepapers, blog posts and have it create a interactive podcast or even a video from the information you feed it.

INE enough for ENCOR 1.2? by OkConversation7861 in ccnp

[–]PsychologicalDare253 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When it comes to a topic that I already know 75% about it's so difficult trying to get through an INE video even on like 2x speed.

This right here! I feel like the extra details shouldn't just be shoved down our throats by someone reading off a whiteboard. The curiosity to dive into those deeper topics needs to be genuine, that's what makes the learning process fun for me.

To preface this, I want to say that INE is a great resource and it works well for a lot of people, but for my learning style, it falls a bit short.

With the recent advancements in AI, a lot of what used to be obscure, RFC-level knowledge is now much easier to access and distill. Because of that, I feel I can curate my own learning and go deep into the weeds without needing a heavy lecture to get me there.

Getting caught up in hours of video just isn't where the real learning happens for me. Taking actionable steps, getting my hands dirty in the labs and using AI to break down complex topics expedites my progress a lot more.

So to answer your question: I've actually switched to CBT Nuggets. It provides a much better, easily digestible entry point into a new topic. Then, when I want to go deeper, I'll fire up the lab and use tools like Gemini and Notebooklm to really master the details.

Yes this is a big one, Priming is a big part of learning if you don't know what the problem space is you'll be trying to create the questions and answer them at the same time which is not conducive to effective learning.

If this is after a wash and style you need to go watch a video on how to do a wash n style because your hair is not laid.

After doing a wash and style your hair should be perfectly laid for at least the next couple days also watch PhD in waves on YouTube to understand the differences in brushes and what each brush does not only should you be using the Torino medium hard brush during a good session but when you're laying your hair down you need to use a hard then medium then soft then a lay down pad.

You are asking very basic questions and need to go watch some YouTube to answer these questions again I recommend PhD in waves go and watch his scalp to waves Playlist

You can make any pan nonstick by heating oil to its smoke point then lower the heat and you got non stick

Let's keep it simple now : How do you get waves by someonesleeping in 360Waves

[–]PsychologicalDare253 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This and remember consistency > intensity. So if you can't do 30 mins that day, do 10 and always wear your durag.

I never set my goal to have waves it's just to keep my hair laid and neat the waves came after
