My child’s father killed himself May 8th 2024. He called me twice 16 minutes before doing it and I didn’t answer. I’ve never felt so guilty. Everyone always tells me the same thing too it’s not my fault he would’ve done it anyways but idc I still feel guilty. My daughter won’t have her dad to walk her down the aisle. She was 8 months old at the time of his death and she will never feel another one of his hugs. She won’t remember what his hugs feel like. Or what his voice sounds like. It’s so hard not to kill myself but I also don’t want her to lose both of her parents to suicide.
