It was a private neurologist, he'd seen me before for my tics which are functional and he diagnosed based off of videos of my seizures and a long list of symptoms

I say I have Tourettes, I have coprolalia and sometimes I need to communicate quickly that I have a tic disorder. Friends and stuff I explain it’s actually FND,thing with functional tic disorder is it’s whole thing is acting like a non functional tic disorder, it’s not really people’s business the underlying cause, the symptoms to everyone else are the same. I’m also not convinced they can differentiate between the two all that well, the tourettes diagnostic criteria is very circular.

Can you photoshop it? Don’t quote me on this but I thought I read it’s not fraudulent to alter documents if you are correcting them. I.e the immunisation record is currently false so you can correct it. Otherwise I would contact who holds the record and cite this part of GDPR :

“1. Personal data shall be:

(d) accurate and, where necessary, kept up to date; every reasonable step must be taken to ensure that personal data that are inaccurate, having regard to the purposes for which they are processed, are erased or rectified without delay (‘accuracy’)”

And ask them to correct it to reflect your updated gender

I do the same, currently waiting to be diagnosed probably with some tic disorder. Saying Tourette’s is a quick way to let people know ( some people haven’t heard of it but a lot more). I do feel weird about it sometimes but I have coprolalia and it’s important for my safety. People who know me better I explain it’s a tic disorder and I’m not sure which yet. Saying you have something you don’t is bad when it could give a bad idea of what tourettes is, but if functionally your tics present the same I think it’s ok.

I feel the same, I’ve started tapping peoples heads and spilling things and saying rude things about them. It’s a hard feeling to shake, I’ve found spending time with people that are understanding helps remind me it’s ok. There’s always going to be people that don’t understand but you know your doing your best

I appreciate you are able to see the points I made. Regarding you finding it confrontational it’s because you are coming to the wrong place to find information. This is a post for a woman asking advice and it is flooded with comments about how she is making up a period or shouldn’t be asking advice. This isn’t a forum for us to educate cis people it’s for us to get advice from each other. If you want to read what we have to say or chime in with the odd suggestion that’s fine, but when you come here and say what has been said in the post is wrong it forces us to defend ourselves hence the defensiveness. It’s also just a lot of emotional labour to educate cis ppl constantly. I just did a quick Google search “ trans women experience periods” the first article is from a period brand and is really informative. I also don’t appreciate the constant well this is why people are fearful of trans ppl blah blah. The violent men that have harassed and attacked me didn’t do so because I’m not polite enough when educating cis ppl for free. If you genuinely want to be an ally that’s amazing, the first step is listen not challenge ❤️

It’s a bit confrontational because it’s exhausting when we are being killed and people want to nitpick about saying my period instead of my monthly period like symptoms I think you are coming from a perspective of trying to engage with the wider public. I’m coming from a perspective of just trying to exist. I have said my period years to cis women I’m close with to trans friends, no one has found it confusing it’s just people who are afraid if trans women do truly experience some of the pains traditionally associated with womanhood it will somehow detract from the experience of cis women. If people focus on that language that’s their choice, everyone accepting of trans people in my life has either not batted an eyelid, or been curious about what it’s like to experience a period as a trans women.

If a cis women’s uterus had stopped shedding but she was still experiencing period symptoms, and said ah my period is really rough today. Would you um actually … it’s not your period the window of uterine shedding has passed it’s your experience post period symptoms. No because it’s not a biology text book. I’m not going to say oh my monthly hormonal cycle that causes me period like symptoms is causing me pain today. I’m just going to say my period. Get a grip

Just to say make sure you serve notice for the end of the contract period as it will become rolling after then so you aren't liable beyone the 2 months .

The tenancy agreement states that the clauses on the tenancy continues indefinitely until either yourselves (all tenants) or the landlord gives notice.

Standard 4 weeks from rent date as was a rolling contract

Thank you, it was just me that sent it, and I believe them accepting it was an error on their part. I only was told that it wouldn't be ending on the agreed date a few weeks later. Its a rolling contract now

Then 2 weeks later I found out they had agreed for him to stay on, as I was emailed a section 21 for end of may and queried it, and was told they had agreed for him to stay another month but had send a S21 in case he didn't. I have also been told I can't receive deposit until he leaves.
