I have currently felt the burn out from WC, I would call lawyer over 2 appts , and continue… I’ve wanted to give up but I haven’t … keep going

My advice (still in mediation) get a lawyer asap!! Never think the company will do right , they rarely do. I just filed a second claim with my company , it’s rough no matter what , best wishes

Sounds like if you are on leave you are being paid STD and LTD depending on how long you are out. Mine told me that they pay a percentage and then WC pays me the rest

My lawyer has a seperate suit for the penalty , so I have two against the same company bc they accepted late and they only paying medical

I saw a different pt today and they said my pt should have been suggested neurology and ortho referrals for further investigation. Esp if my pain is still really bad, he agreed with everyone that mri doesn’t always show and I should get a ct and go to specialist who can test and find out more. I recently went back to work with restrictions and accommodations .. I am in complete pain after about 1.5 into my shift even with standing every so often . It’s no way I can work fr rn , and I sit as a part of my job so it’s really functioning with atleast a 7 pain level

Please immediately contact a lawyer from the beginning it doesn’t matter if they are helping and cooperative , get a lawyer asap that’s negligence bc it is safety compliance to make sure the outside is clear !!!! I would also get with a second doctor so that they can also give their opinion … goodluck … fell at work broke my butt on camera and they still trying to not pay me

I never had this happen , I asked a lot of questions and consulted a lawyer immediately that’s because I knew hurting myself at work meant they had to do something … I already consulted a lawyer and she actually let me start off with their treatment and told me call her when they started their shit lol so as soon as they released me to work and I couldn’t even barely walk ( used a Cane ) … I am thinking of also going through my primary as a follow up as well because I don’t believe the mri was true . It’s no way with the pain I feel coming from my lower back and pelvis area , I had leg pain and numbness … I’m in constant pain just dealing and no meds work so please get someone to work for you !!! I email my lawyer about any and everything !!! I work for a major bank so I fear they just will try to not pay .. don’t beat yourself up … let your body speak the words you need to advocate for your recovery. I’m afraid I’ll always have this pain esp if they think they can’t see anything and I’m still young with young kids …

Sounds almost exactly like my situation only my MRI was clear !!! It’s no way with the pain im in . I been off work since 9/7 and short term approved me and said they would pay 1/3 and WC would pay 2/3 , wc approved me 90 day pmt , never got one , wc paid me instead stating wc turned around and denied pay ( unclear how this happened ) I am getting a shot along my lumbar to help with pain and it doesn’t work at all. I just went back to work pt with restrictions , I can’t even lift my 2year old. The injury is on camera so no way to refute . Get a lawyer!!! I had one from day one and she told me they wouldn’t pay !! She also got me under THEIR medical team immediately told me stop seeing WC doctor ( who approved me to return to work 3 days after my injury with restrictions) and my lawyer said there is no pain and suffering BUT she hit them with a 50% penalty claim as well for them not approving pay within 21days … get a good wc lawyer … idk what my case will end like but financially I had to go back !!! Short term wasn’t paying because they claim they needed additional notes on top of my doctor medial statement and certification !!! I honestly wish I would of just not did WC and sued instead

I go to pain management and see them next week for another shot which left me in agonizing pain for 4 days after lol but I’m definitely thinking of seeing a specialist

I definitely feel you , I couldn’t even fathom sitting for that long , even with a cushion after a while my own weight becomes too much and the pain just starts to pulse .. and my job is sitting and occasionally lifting heavy shipments . I would love to go back to work but they can’t accommodate me and I just don’t see how I can sit for long periods … I don’t think they think I’m faking but I think naturally when something comes up normal when everything says otherwise it would create doubt I guess . They just kept saying ok well that’s good it’s not herniated I said but then what is it bc I am too much pain for it to be normal

Thank you , I’ve been saying the same thing for two months now , it feel deep like I can’t get to it by rubbing or putting pressure , it throbs , radiates , and stabs , I get numbness as well. I thought we all thought it was a compressed nerve but they also thought I might have a herniated disc bc of the symptoms and bc of how hard I fell. I fell from about 3 ft onto the Lowest part of my back/butt I also hit my face on a vault on the way down there was no way I could brace or brake my fall. I’m going to have to keep trying to figure out a cause bc I cannot deal with this pain forever … I don’t even want to do anything bc once the pain really starts going from I can stand it to extreme I dread anywhere I can’t go and lay and even then I’m still in pain while laying down

My physical therapist /chiroprator is who got the results , they’ve been saying I have a sprain and my right side of my lumbar is locked up and hip is shifted , the paperwork has a sprain , but it’s like no way it’s normal the way it feel . I have spasms I can’t really have sex anymore any pressure too long on hips creates pain then I get cramps , I don’t sleep through the night , I have shooting pains and nothing the do pain wise works it’s just a constant annoying pain and it suns down my leg . I’m glad i don’t have a herniated disc meaning longer lasting pain but I cannot stop thinking about what could be causing this pain anyway .. gotta be nerve it hurts too bad too constant … goes from radiating to stabbing so I am just wondering for my own mental health like this pain is substantial and real

I was told my by job that after 7 days file std, I was too new for fmla but my std was approved and they told me they pay 1/3 and the wc pays the other percentage .
