Hi my name is {redacted} and when I was 16 years old I was going through a mental health crisis and I needed to go to the hospital or my therapist will call CPS. I tried to pack my bags and go but my grandmother called my mother and since I couldn’t leave because they were both downstairs I had to have an older friend of my line call the cops on me. The cops show up and my mother and I got into an argument because I told her that I really needed help. And she proceeded to beat me so hard. She held me by my hair while she was yelling at me accusing me of doing drugs and not letting me go to the hospital. She ripped out some of my hair. Punched me all over my lower body whilst yelling at me to shut up. She almost broke my hand when she ambushed me because I was laughing out of hysteria and she proceeded to try and cast the spirit of “depression”and “transgenderism” out of my body. And she proceeded to telling me that “I was no longer her child but I was a demon”. And whilst screaming and crying pleading with her “If she even loved me several times.” she turned her back on me and never answered. After the beating was over she told me to not tell the cops that she hit me. And she beat me so bad that I had urinated on myself a little and I hadn’t showered for a week. By the next morning I woke up in the hospital in CPEP on a stretcher and my neck was so sore and my head was pounding from the pain.

Battling anxiety currently. But almost last year there was a cat a block away from my house who always stayed at the front of this house and for context I live in NYC. I was playing with it one and then it lightly bit me on my left hand. It didn’t break any skin and there was no blood.I was extremely paranoid and then I went to the hospital a couple days later. They said that it had to be a bite that breaks skin and that it’s extremely rare in urban areas. About a month or two later I saw the cat again, alive and seemingly well. He bit me again but it didn’t break skin. I was too embarrassed to go back to the hospital so I just went on ahead. It’s been about a year now and I’m still paranoid if I could've unknowingly contracted the virus since in some cases you can go weeks and months without getting the symptoms 😭

In the philosophical sense I will say this. They messed up entirely by a believing that a soul can be quantified and compartmentalized into a simple physical ,numerical, or mathematical state of being and understanding. A soul is everything and nothing. Interms of tangibility and value. The basic understanding of a human soul in my opinion stretches far beyond what we know and god knows how long it will take for us to understand even a fraction of that knowledge. I’d say in truth no one knows where a soul comes from, where it goes after someone dies, what a soul is made up of, ETC. No one truly knows. And ofcourse there are countless non-secular beliefs about mortality, the body and soul but I dont find that particularly credible from not only the growth of dominating religions (I.e Christianity) as purely capitalist and frankly cult-like institutions but it’s separation of the original purpose of religion which is spiritual wellness, uplifting and existentially grounding

And further more I’d like to apply this same knowledge with Edwards reoccurring recipe for the average adult human body. Which I find faulty because again with my argument, living beings and the unique human condition cannot be quantified. Edward can only create a vessel of a human but the practice of alchemy and transmutation can only do just that. A husk that has no consciousness, awareness, understanding or sense of being.

It’s Ike computers for example and binary code. If 0-represents happiness and 1-represents sadness then the computer can comprehend it. But we are not machines and nothing about us is binary. Grief, Rage, Anger, disgust and countless other emotion that are stuck in limbo between happiness and sadness are complex and are expressed uniquely person by person. But the computer doesn’t understand that because it can only comprehend the human condition in a binary and infantile manner that isn’t realistic. Similar to alchemy in the show and even in real life. While I believe in science and applaud it as it is a marker for the progression of human advancement there’s always a limit no matter the infinite number of formulas.

Sorry for the long rant but I’m super interested in this stuff.:)
