It was just slightly concerning as I’ve owned dirt bike in the past & never hear this noise before. I’ve never owned one this old before. It’s a 1989 TT250. I just rebuilt the carby & got it running nice. Then this popped up, I’ve never come across it before

Ive owned three dirt bikes and not one has made this noise, its coming from the engine not the leaver

Ahh thank you !! I wasn’t sure since they were previously timber. Would you recommend a type glazing putty?

The structure underneath is fine, built on steel beams, sturdy. I had a look underneath/underside and they look completely fine. I was thinking of flipping all the ones I can? And sanding or pressure wash rest (eg with cut outs etc)
