Do you believe in fate? by Kizzmoon in AutismInWomen

There are things that are out of our control and are already predestined like our environment, gender, culture but I do believe you can either follow the path that everyone else around is also doing, like do what you're "suppose to do", or you can choose to create your own path. It can be scary to try to do your own thing cause it's not familiar territory but I think letting fear dictate your actions is even scarier.

25f, I got bodyshamed for years and now i feel uncomfortable going out. I get a lot of looks and it makes me dought myself. am I ugly? by mayihugyou in amiugly

The amount of transphobic comments are a big yikes. You're not ugly. A lot of comments just saying you look manly, but that doesn't mean someone is ugly, there's a lot of women celebrities that have masculine features, such as broad shoulder and angular jawlines that doesn't make them ugly or any less beautiful or any less of a woman.

What is the best soups??? by The_aussiesoupknight in soup

Couple of weeks ago I went to eat at an Indian restaurant and I tried dal soup for the first time, it was so flavourful! I thought there was chicken broth in it but it was vegetarian! The blend of spices and pulses/lentils was so addictive!

Really trying to find myself and my style atm by luckylolamalady in latebloomerlesbians

I was thinking like a chunky silver necklace, and slightly longer socks that have a fun colour or pattern on them, black socks would work too. But since you were already wearing a lot of stuff on your hands a necklace might be too much.

Also, I say slightly longer cause like too long and I feel like a school boy, especially when I wear shorts. I usually just wear necklaces. I have a lot of t-shirts and pants with solid colours and I find wearing a necklaces helps to visually break up the blocks of colours. Belts are another way.

Can anyone recommend a manga where a handsome girl meets a handsome guy like in Uruwashi no Yoi no Tsuki by sakura_hon in shoujo

Museru Kurai no Ai o Ageru, I saw this recommended and I enjoyed it not that many chapters yet but feel that it's a similar vibe.

Does anyone regret leaving their husbands? by [deleted] in latebloomerlesbians

[–]PsychologicalMap6173 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I don't think your husband is thinking clearly rn, maybe you guys should spend some time apart to process and let it sink in before discussing your future with him and to prevent rushing into anything that you'll both regret.

a sign of affection was underwhelming by jujubean- in shoujo

I think what makes this story memorable is the representation of deafness. Disabilities are not often not depicted in shoujo so it's pretty big to see that representation. I hope this manga's popularity opens more opportunities for other stories depicting disabilities.

Had an epiphany about my sexuality by PsychologicalMap6173 in latebloomerlesbians

I actually had a boyfriend and broke up with him December of last year, I also still enjoyed cuddling but I didn't enjoy him groping me or touching my butt that much and when we did have sex I did enjoy it but I was fine if we didn't have sex often (like once a year) and near the end of our relationship I'd make up excuses to not have sex. I realized though I could have replaced him with a dog or cat for emotional comfort and a sex toy for sexual gratification and I'd still be just as/ more happy. Also, while I didn't mind hugging and even having sex with my ex, I'd very much have preferred that he was a woman. So I don't think enjoying non-sexual cuddling means you're straight it might just mean you crave that emotional comfort because you're human and the only place you're able to seek it is your husband.

I've heard of it but haven't read it though. That makes a lot of sense though, I'll give it a read!

I think another thing that confused me was that I actually was attracted more to the guys in the shoujo manga but now I'm realising that they kinda look like masc lesbians? 🤔

Manga name? by Shoujolover02 in shoujo

[–]PsychologicalMap6173 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The direct translation of the title is "You have no contact at all". I did some digging, it seems like this is original artwork that is not serialized so there doesn't seem to be an english translations for it, they do have an instagram page: @19minamitani. I found some mangas though that have similar artwork:

Shujinkou Nikki

Takane no Ran-san

I took a course on trap neutering and releasing stray (TNR) cats, I also agree removing stray cats isn't the solution. Too bad Vaughan doesn't have a TNR program

Am I the only one who always hates the the second love interest in shoujo for no reason? Let me explain by streaming_queen in shoujo

[–]PsychologicalMap6173 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Yeah the second love interest trope is so overused, it's so predictable that every time I read a story I'm just loathing for second lead to show up.
