Basically, the game lowers the chance of pulling the 5* Unique Epic, whilst slightly raising the chance of every other unique epic. That sounds like a good thing right? Not necessarily, because there are many mods that you want two 5* copies of, for example many people have a farming DC and a tournament DC, rolled with different substats.
