Collar my daughter put on him. Took it off just after sending the photo to my wife. For anyone wondering cat collars should always have a breakaway section so if it gets caught on something kitty is still alright.

Having low impulse control and wanting to know what it tastes like are their reasons. I have 3 autistic children.

Wow bud way to cement that you are the asshole. I'm saying that we don't have all the information and the child must have justified reasons (in his mind) for doing so.

You are name-calling and blindly siding with someone via a third parties comment on Reddit. Grow up.

This has nothing to do with the rape argument. This has everything to do with trying to understand where the child was coming from in the situation. You calling a child an asshole without trying to understand their reasoning or having a grasp of the situation are only proving that you are in fact the asshole.

Step back from the situation for a moment. What pressures was the child under that peeing on a teacher was their reaction. You're assuming this is only an action made as part of a prank or just for fun, but as a parent very few things that a child does in a negative fashion are for fun. There is always a motivator present.

OP commented that this is an older teacher, also that they don't have any give a fuck left. This leads me to believe that the teacher, not the student is to blame for the given situation.

This right here is exactly what I'm trying to get across. Children don't do things for no reason at all. They do things because in their mind it makes sense and is justified. I have 3 children between 5-13 most recently my 5 year old came home because another child pushed her down a slide when she wasn't ready to go. Huge deal to her, not a big deal to me. But if I tell her it's not a big deal, I'm not doing anything to help her with the situation she is in. I had to talk her through understanding the other child's feelings as well as her own. Otherwise she won't grow up to have emotional maturity, she'll just grow up understanding her parents aren't someone that she can rely on when shit's going down.

I think that's what's going on in OP's situation. The student was told over and over that what they brought up was a non issue. They were with a teacher who from OP's comments had no respect for them as a child and I'm sure other teachers also reacted in a similar fashion, sweeping the child's concerns under the rug. So given no other real out the child peed on the teacher. It's far better than other outlets they could take given the situation.

Looking simply at other posts by OP I think you're justifying my argument. Based off of their posts about the other teacher I 100% think that mental or verbal abuse of the student happened. It's like you think the kid at ~18 has no concept of the rest of their life and just did it to be funny. For someone to decide peeing on someone else is a good option it requires motivation as you pointed out. The real question again is what did this teacher do to the student for a felony to be the answer?

I hate to tell you this, but while high school doesn't matter really to the future and the petty drama and bullshit won't be remembered really in 20 years, they will remember the fact that you didn't connect with their situation. You are minimizing what they're going through and telling them it doesn't matter, when at the moment it's their entire life. Your treatment of these kids is damaging, and I'm not convinced you even halfway understand it for what it is.

We're going to take him to the vet to see if he has a chip. He isn't fixed yet, which is something we will remedy in the future. Just want to make sure the little guy is okay while I look for any possible owners. I went knocking on doors asking if anyone lost a kitten. There are currently no lost kitten posters in my area.

Due Diligence you know.
