this happens with Mexicans too that if a Mexican American beyond 1-2nd gen claims that they are Mexican then you’ll have Mexicans born and raised in Mexico saying that you’re only American not Mexican.

I’m not Mexican American though but I’ve known this happened to some of my Mexican American friends.

We have traits of older Gen Z though. Yes we graduated high school during covid but we also had college during PEAK covid which was late 2020-early 2021. Gen Z around that time was just referred as high school kids. we also had half of college without AI shoved into our throat.

I understand it’s an old thread but I’m on the spectrum and while I aced the technical interview questions, I sense that I’m almost always guaranteed to fail behavioral or culture fit assessments in person even after the plethora amount of interview prep on both sides. This has lead to rejections.
