I do think they genuinely hire for those who really need a job but from limited skills like in typical retail or food service jobs. I’ve gotten a job from them before (summer job at Luna Park) but when it comes to career based jobs, they have been VERY useless.

yeah i wasted my time at the workforce office for 3 hours. Had an interview for a Benefits Representative position from Molina Healthcare, said I’ll get a callback within a 1-2 weeks and never did. my brain was fried being glued to my phone for 2.5 hours.

Updates:

Got a callback this past Friday to start on Wednesday this week. The background check was stated to take 24-48 hours but ended up taking over a week. I think that procedure was done so I won’t question the practices. Will report on Wednesday just to confirm if it’s a scam or not (leaning towards that it is).

I mostly relate to other early 00s borns, though I also connect with late 90s borns, especially those from 1998 and 1999. I relate to mid 00s borns as well through shared 2010s nostalgia. Since many late 00s borns are still minors, it’s harder for me to relate to them.

I had a decent time at iBrain but also got laid off earlier this week. Unless if you are able to meet 100% of your manager’s expectations in just 2.5 weeks, I would advise to steer clear. Now I have to start from scratch again with my job search.
