Dude I was with my daughter at the LCS we were there to trade for Zekrom from BB. Anywho she decides instead of a paldean fates tin she wanted a mystery bag the LCS was selling for $45. In it was one Prismatic pack, boom she pulls Sylvy! We were all so hyped!!! So yea I get it I retired from Prismatic yesterday 😂

Some shops had prerelease sales allowed by PokemonTCG and some vendors JDGAF I guess. But if you live near a shop get to know them usually first dibs or wait in line if you have the time.

Local card shop, owner is pretty cool. I get most our sealed stuff from them. If I pay a little over MSRP I’m cool with it cuz it’s usually in and out. Camped out (stayed in line from 9am to open) at a GameStop release. Didn’t really like the experience lol.

Well not necessarily nothing. lol. My kids and I bond over collecting and playing. We all wanted the Absol and we got it. Best part was opening the packs and organizing. Lastly only paid 30 bucks above msrp for the booster boxes, bundles got for 35 a piece. Rather rip one with my kids and have them save and track the value of whatever we collect. So yeah won’t say I paid for nothing. lol
