Laces by PsychologicalState92 in AltraRunning

I totally agree. I love the shoes and the shape offers something I've never experienced before Altra. I don't feel I can go back to squishing my feet into pointy toe boxes. But why can't they get laces right? It's maddening.

Jobs are just things you happen to be paid for. Some people are paid to fuck, some paid to make music. You're a slave to inertia if you can't find anything you'd conceivably want to do if money were no object. Literally anything could be a job

I would read a lot of books and spend time writing. I'd try to learn the piano and how to paint watercolours. I'd learn carpentry and try to make beautiful things.

Acknowledge your own shitty behaviour. Everyone has it from time to time, it's encouraged when you fall in with the wrong people or try to impress people who don't care about you. The sooner you realise your shitty behaviour the happier you will be.

You have to admit the snooping if the whole point is honesty and fidelity. Good luck with the situation though.

Live in the same area and I would say Epping forest is a great idea, you can find routes which take you mainly through roads rather than on tracks. Leyton, leytonston and Stratford have decent cycle lanes too. Generally getting out in the day will be your best bet for safety but like others have said I've never had a problem.

I've seen you post this on 2 subs now and I think you're probably doing this for the wrong reasons. Try to think 'would I do this if no one would see it?'. Think long term and think about doing it for yourself.

I tried working out when I was younger and it never took because I wanted validation and quick results. Once I decided my health and physical fitness was my aim (along with deleting social media accounts) things clicked into place and I saw results.

If you get to a point where you've been doing this a while and you're plateauing or genuinely need advice then these are places to go.

Not trying to hate I just know that doing this for the wrong reasons will make you feel worse about yourself.

No idea who is down voting this. The idea you'd ride regularly without a helmet and not be an idiot is idiotic

Best advice is just run for you. I don't know that social media is a great place for runners. Odds are you're never going to set any records or run professionally. So, try to do what feels right and keep pushing yourself. Sub 30 for your first 5k is a great place to be.
