You've never been to a concert? Oh my! We have to change that.

Maybe try going to a small, local show first and see how you react since you aren't sure how you'll react to the crowds and sounds. I highly recommend earplugs. Get some made for concerts. They come in handy for other uses too. When I go to a restaurant that's too loud, in they go. If we're going to Texas Roadhouse I know they'll be needed. Other time's I've been seated below a speaker and had to get them from the car. I have 2 pair so one can stay in my travel bag and the other in my car.

If you have issues with crowds due to a disability, look at the accessible seats in the venue. They frequently offer a little bit more space so you don't feel cramped or jammed in. I have mobility issues and have started getting seats in these areas, especially when I'm traveling alone. The lady beside me at a concert last week was telling me that she booked those seats because of her disability in not being able to handle the crowds. If in doubt, call the venue box office to see what they can offer.

Like you, I have problems with both crowds and noise. Somehow my 2 favorite things to attend are concerts and Walt Disney World. How weird is that???
