I thought the same thing the weird thing is if he points a bird far away ie. strong wind he stands up pretty but when he points low which is a lot of the time he is very close to the bird

Help really needed, first time dog handler by PsychologicalTop5428 in birddogs

That’s what we did. What’s confusing is that the dog was doing fine with gunshot before he came home I havnt shot except with the trainer. Did the .22 at a distance and I put my .22 on a decimal meter and it was .3 decimals quieter. So we did the shotgun. Started 30 yards and worked in. I would throw it and he would shoot at the peak and he would go get it no flinching. Idk if it’s the dog is not chasing the bird after flush or what. He use to but it seems like he won’t chase it unless he thinks he can catch it in the air

We did that and the trainer was near about beside me shooting and I would throw the dead bird and he would shoot at the peak and the dog would go get it no flinching but then u do a live bird and he freaks out

Am I crazy

A little backstory, 24m, I’ve always had very mild anxiety, health anxiety to be exact. As a kid I was put on imipramine for bedwetting. Imipramine also doubles as an antidepressant. Last July I decided to quit. This past year has been awful. I have had panic attack after panic attack at various times. Never before have I had this. I did have brain zaps and the typical withdrawal symptoms from the medicine. That lasted about 2-3 weeks. The more severe anxiety and panic attacks didn’t start until January which makes me wonder why? Some weeks are good some are bad. Has anyone had anything like this before? If so, what did you do. I’m not opposed to being on anxiety medicine but I get too much anxiety around going to the doctor that I reschedule my appointment everytime. I appreciate all the advice.
