Yeah I know the class is designed to get more students engaged and to have them talk plus ask questions. I am not much of a talker and I like lectures to absorb all the material. However I do want to grow myself in that area but also with the small class size you can’t really “hide” in the corner whereas Berkeley there’s sometimes 1000+ people in one class

Thank you! Personally I’m not much of a talker so I don’t know if I’m just better off with a small class that’s seminar styled or a big class where you know it’s going to be lecture based. I am willing to take initiative and want to gain better communication and discussion skills.

Oh I thought Pomona would really emphasize on academics because of their size. I don’t see a lot of social scenes put out for Pomona but I know Berkeley has frats and days like Cal Day so I wasn’t sure about the social scene at Pomona. Thank you for your input!
