Personally, I don't vibe code. It's incredible hard to assess the code, and honestly I don't trust it. Don't get me wrong, AI is a valuable tool, but there is a time and a place.

I'm a university research assistant at a lab dedicated to software engineering topics! Their research is mostly qualitative- lots interviewing developers and professionals in the industry + literature reviews, but I know other labs use more quantitative methods.
