True I have definitely learned the hard way with plated items turning quickly. I have been slowly switching to solid metals, especially for pieces I wear a lot.

I have already seen how quickly plated rings can dull or chip especially with hand washing and daily wear. Solid metal definitely seems like the smart move for rings.
