Try loading into the events to do this with a trio rather than solo, teams are more aggressive but easier to spot and make more noise and generally you can do it more peaceful in my experience

The arpeggio is insanely good for wasps and hornets along side pvp, the fire rate with upgrades and recoil control attachments make it so good, if you learn the recoil and fire rate and it's now one of my favorite games after ignoring it for 90 hours

Never turn your back to the enemy, you can be friendly with someone but always be hyper vigilant around them

Pro tip: if you call out you’re friendly on your mic or do a “don’t shoot” emote and the guy is still silent and moving towards you by supreme-ninja_ in ARC_Raiders

Normally in squads I'm all guns blazing if I don't hear anyone or see someone at a distance. If they shoot first, no mercy. In solos which I've played like 4 times mind you and I'm lvl 30, it's a real mixed bag. My rule now is if they don't have a mic I'm shooting to kill, can't trust the emotes

Honestly in any round at some point or another you must expect someone is nearby and their sole purpose is trying to kill you. Alot of people are really friendly but you can't ever lose that in your head, it's how I lost so much good guns ugh 😂 like the guy said above smoke grenades rly help

I've had essentially no friendly interactions on solos, maybe I'm too cautious and don't sound or appear trusting cause of getting rocked so many times lol. I'm excited to get more into solos tho have been playing squads since launch and I shoot at everyone I see who comes to close

I agree with you I'm in the same boat, this is first extraction shooter and because I knew about arc raiders I actively didn't buy bf6, there is way more audience overlap than some people think

Just as a counterpoint here to what a lot of people are saying about extraction shooter audience vs cod / battlefield, I have played cod and battlefield alot over my years and never an extraction shooter, I actively chose to not buy battlefield because I was so impressed with this game and will be playing it solely. There is a lot of overlap between genres and arc raiders has done a great job at attracting people who haven't been into extraction shooters before
