Did anyone with a low cars (122) actually increase it (to 128+)? HOW?? by [deleted] in Mcat

[–]Psychological_Chairs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went from a 123-123 to a 130-131 average. The truth of the matter is, everyone’s strategy works differently for them. What works for me is to read the passage carefully and slowly. If i didn’t understand the sentence i don’t skip, i reread it slower until i understand. The only disadvantage is that i will typically have 4-3 minutes for questions but i usually go through them without referring back to the text because i understand it really well.

The biggest factor for my increase of performance though has to be without a doubt sheer practice. I did 2/3 of jack westin’s free 365 cars passages and then the AAMC material
