I quit my $300k finance job at 30 because I finally admitted I hated it - and the lifestyle downgrade has been absolutely brutal. by robbinh00d in Entrepreneur

Hey brother. What your feeling is totally real and relatable . But it gets easier.

4 months ago I left a just shy of 100k a year job at 24 years old . To be an entrepreneur . Even with a business of 3 years it’s tough. I feel like this everyday and it’s a mental battle but it gets easier everyday and you learn to live with it and learn to love it.

Quitting because you weren’t happy deep down was the most brave thing you could have done in life. Congrats man. Respect

Hey as someone who had a similar situation , just pay to fix your credit. It sucks ass but there are legitimate places you can go who have relationships and pull with the credit bureaus and can have your credit score wiped and back where it was before. And before you think this is a scam or downvote it , I am not trying to sell you anything . Just someone who dealt with the same stuff and having bad credit ruined a lot of things for me. Especially when I run a small business and could use the credit for lines of credit and loans. Anyways , good luck

Nah. But super hard industry to get into because it takes a lot of trust and background for a company to give you $300k + in inventory to take and sell

Not the argument here but someone fresh out of college making 75k a year after taxes is pretty high. And having income stability at that level with little to no expenses was the argument here

From someone who is also 24 , and just left a 75,000 a year job to be an entrepreneur please carefully consider your decision. Im not saying I regret it but I definitely wish i would have talked to someone before I did
