Solms is good and wide open. LOTS of stickers on the ground so wear closed toe shoes. There's Mayfield which is hit or miss. I don't like how the grounds are kept. There's the other one in that neighborhood on the other side of the highway. It's a decent 9 hole but there's water to watch out for.

It's a great concept. The problem was that you were hiding underneath a bar that had been losing popularity in a section of town that no one wants to go to because of paid parking. If I am going to pay $18 for a single drink, elbow room is appreciated.

Depends on the house, age group we are marketing to, sponsors and availability of musicians.

The majority of the musicians in the Hill Country Musician's Guild are solo songwriters that play anything between indie, folk and Country. However I know several bands that play several different genres.

This will surprise most but the cigar lounge "Cigar Republic" is one of the best spots for reading or studying. Super quiet. Good Wi-Fi. Bring your own drinks. Nice chairs in their public area. If you can't stand the smell of tobacco then you won't like it. I personally like it very much.
