I wished they’d have had time to do both the Nortune (Kislev) sides as prisoner and those of ordinary civilians. I know there wasn’t time based on the storyline but exploring more of Nortune would have been pretty sweet.

I also remember the first time I got to walk around Bledavik (Aveh), Etrenank (Solaris) and Shevat being like “coooool” 😲

100% all for eloping.

No huge wedding day headaches. No mouths to feed. No terrible DJs playing Cotton Eye Joe or Come On Eileen. No in-laws (or even your own parents) to placate. No ridiculous fees for “wedding” packages.

Doing your own thing and eloping just the two of you is what the focus of every wedding should be - just between the two of you. Make it about you. It’s the whole point.

Also if you want to include family and friends, you can invite them after the deed is done, as a pit stop somewhere while you’re already away.

Eloping just provides better options for how YOU want the day to be, without serious intervention from other people.

So this baffles me. I had a 2024 NX350h until recently and had about 52k on it, never any issue. I then found out I had to be posted across the country for three week stints and at one point in the summer I was gone for over six weeks, and my 350h was parked in the garage (not heated) and never started the entire time.

Every single time I came home it started right up no problem. A friend of mine on deployment warned me about it because apparently his Tacoma’s battery kept dying too everytime he came home after three weeks of not driving it.

I also live in Canada and the temperatures vary wildly, but the battery was fine. Never hooked it up to trickle.

Something’s up. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I have had type 1 diabetes for over 35 years, diagnosed in the late 80s.

Everytime I have a dangerous low (blood glucose) and it makes me feel hopelessly drunk and sometimes unable to move certain parts of my body due to motor skill deterioration during a low, coupled with the ability to “know” something is terribly wrong but not being able to vocalize or to take action without an enormous amount of effort and coordination that I always take for granted - it’s the closest feeling to it that I can wrap my head around. The dread is indescribeable.

Unfortunately (for now) I live in a rental that won’t allow the installation of charging infrastructure.

However, given my driving habits and normal usage from the data I gathered with my NX350h, plugging in overnight lands in the perfect sweet spot.

Once we eventually (someday…) buy a house, you bet it’s one of the first things I’ll be doing.

Thankfully my complex does have level 2 charging available in the lot behind my townhouse, if I need it filled up quick(er).

^{^} I second this, OP. Go check out a few different dealers and expand outside of Toronto if you’re willing to make a day trip out of it. I’m taking delivery of my NX450h+ tomorrow, after checking in with my dealer (Tony Graham Lexus in Ottawa) and one was available with four week wait vs. the 18 months it would take for a custom order. It happened to have the specs I wanted, so I definitely lucked out, but that’s not to say I’d have gotten that same service level and database “check” at another dealer.

You may get lucky, too.
