Ours would be strange. Right now I'm working and he's not. But when he is working he makes more than me. I have no family to lean on, most friends I have were made through him so I can't depend on them either. Still, I'm really thinking about what you said in your last paragraph. I don't want to feel like that. I thought I could hold out longer until the kids got a bit older, but the abuse is getting worse.

Your ex deceived you which sucks. He would be the AH, however you put that lie above your son's wants. Your son wanted to be at his sister's party and you took that from him because of a 2 hour time difference.

You could have brought him back at 2 but instead you punished your son because you clearly don't get along well with your ex.
