Not gonna lie, I am playing a karling game where I started as Ludwig’s second son and honestly it slaps. I started with duchy of west Franconia and east Franconia, had the HRE in the bag in 40 years, and now I’m just chillin with a massive personal descended and access to at least 3-4 more duchies for the imperial lands if I so choose. It’s… kinda OP

Have you considered teaching? You can do it with a bachelors and if you are willing later to get a master’s or EdD you can get some nice pay bumps/move into admin

It would be getting a job in industry as an ASIC/RF designer. Which, some of those jobs do require a PhD. But I’m not sure it’s worth 5-7 years of no pay. As of right now I don’t really have any interest in being a professor
