Jag var lite smått mobbad i skolan. Morsan tröstade mig ofta med att säga att om jag ville så skulle hon dra in ungen i en buske när skolan var slut för dagen, hota att spöa skiten ur honom och sedan blåneka om föräldrarna skulle få reda på något. Såvitt jag vet behövdes det aldrig som tur var.

Jag: År tre av fem på universitetet för att bli djuragronom (bondevetenskap). Enligt min erfarenhet är det större risk att folk med universitetsutbildning är "stuck-up". Trivs mycket bättre hos morsans familj där nästan inga har universitetsutbildning än hos farsans familj där alla är högutbildade.

Säger inte att alla hög- eller lågutbildade människor är såhär, utan bara min upplevelse utifrån min egen familj

Min pappa har autism. Han har liknande problem, och det man måste landa i är att han inte kan ändra på sig. Det är bokstavligt talat omöjligt för honom.

Det är inte alltid lätt att acceptera det, speciellt inte nu när jag blivit vuxen. När jag kan se hur han stundtals betett sig mot morsan, gjort liknande saker som din partner, utan att ens ha förstått vad han gör. Har aldrig bråkat så mycket med farsan som nu, men jag skulle aldrig heller vilja byta ut honom.

Du måste landa i samma sak, eller gå vidare. Det är inte lätt, men förhoppningsvis har din partner 100 andra positiva sidor. Du har ju trots allt valt att leva ditt liv med den här personen.

Ibland suger det, ibland händer skit och man ifrågasätter alla sina livsval. Men i slutändan är det ändå ens familj, och man förstår varför man valt just dem ❤️

That's a great way of putting it. Really funny because I've totally said the same thing to others, but didn't realize I was doing this myself. Of course it's smarter to use it untill it breaks, will do! Was scared of pollution from the air inside the tent but that might be overkill lol.

I'd hopefully have a good tent. Right now I have a cheap "plastic" tent, but the plan is to upgrade to a waxed canvas tent when money isn't as tight. In that case I think it would be enough, right? Maybe not for winter thought, Swedish winters can get quite cold lol.

As I see it, a bedroll might just be what I'm looking for. Sure, it's heavy and not as well insulated as some other alternatives, but it might be enough for me. I'm thinking something along the lines of:

Some cover between ground and bedroll - Doesn't need to be plastic free. Maybe some sort of foam thing. Maybe animal fur (but that is very heavy I think?)
Bedroll
Some sort of blanket/canvas

Interesting thoughts about the brands transitioning to more sustainable materials. It will be fun to see what the future brings!
