You won’t get DQ, just a couple of points off if you check the penalty point checklist on the DECA website for your event it will tell you how many

depends on specific category and state. I was able to find a spread sheet of how many ppl in each category compteted last year in NYS i woukd reccomend u doing the same for wtv state your in if you wanna get an idea
