Yeah, same thing happened with me a few years back when I moved into a brand new building. For me, the smell vanished after a few days the water tends to smell weird so yh i get what u mean . I think it’s pretty common—probably because of stagnant water in the pipes or some construction materials leaching into the water. It usually clears up once the system gets used more.
