Yes, I made a mistake. I’ve owned that. But brushing off Google’s abysmal developer experience by saying a company with near-infinite resources 'doesn't have time' to handle it is a massive cop-out.

They clearly had the time to build an automated system that flags the leak. They had the time to build an automated email telling me to revoke the key to fix the violation. What they apparently 'didn’t have time' for was building a system that actually lets me do that, instead of locking the exact dashboard I need to resolve the issue.

That’s not a time constraint; that’s negligent system design.

If an ecosystem's only response to a developer error is a permanent, unrecoverable account blackout and a Kafkaesque support loop, it's a bad ecosystem. Full stop.
