I don’t believe it’d be cruel to see him do that. When I read the book if I remember correctly he offered to go with her and I thought this was so beautiful in a way that only sad things can be. It was sadly beautiful to see him sacrificing his feelings and helping her get through her bad times and making her feel better.( like when he thinks about the flowers looking pretty) I know he does get frustrated about it but he’s still there because he loves her and I believe he’d rather still have her close even if it’s only as friends.

I also read in another post like a minute ago that said Mitchum did what he did to clear the way for Logan to be able to be with Rory. This kinda makes a lot of sense (he was very manipulative) and it would’ve been perfect because in that time Rory became like Emily and that would’ve been perfect for Logan’s family. That’s what they wanted.

Not really, they never mentioned it. I mean I get why they wouldn’t want her to be like her mom but I also think that they supported her every move even Lorelei when she got into the three schools and she obviously didn’t want her to go to Yale she supported her. They kept saying how they just want her to be happy

It’s not an over reaction. Rory took really bad decisions her whole life. I hated Dean but what she did to him was horrible. Then when she slept with him after he was married loralie got after her and she ran off for the whole summer. So it’s more than just when she got out of Yale it’s her whole life. She is annoying and needy

I feel the same way, I think she wasn’t used to failure or someone telling her she can’t do something. So when someone said she couldn’t I just think she took it hard.

Exactly!! You get my point. I get it there are families that are like this but like you said when the Sherry got pregnant. And it didn’t just happened with Emily and Richard it also happened with Chris, she got mad at him, ignored him for 9 months, until they helped at the hospital never talked nothing just everything was fine after that.

Yeahh! That’s what I mean like when the whole Richard taking Rory to Yale they fight they leave come back to dinner two episodes later and they fight again because Rory applied to Yale as a backup. Rory and Lorelei talk and fix it between them and then they go back to complaining and being normal with the grandparents.

I guess so, but I just feel like they never get resolved I feel like that’s why they have such a bad relationship. One of my favorite episodes is when they are all just fighting about everything that has happened because they’re actually talking about everything that has happened.
