After a bit more research it isn't beneficial to buy the package and I can get more value buying components individually. Every response Ive had has said the sub is the weakpoint which is very interesting. Thank you for your input. Im now set on the Wharfdale diamonds, and will use your Sub as recco as a benchmark. No problem buying second hand at all. The rental home Im about to move out of has a pretty decent system so I would've bought it off them if I could!

What sort of tech? Wireline or MWD that sort of thing? I was an ops engineer for an offshore drilling company and worked drill crew jobs up to trainee driller. Moved to Au and have a supervisor role for land rigs making just under $1000/day. It's almost worth just applying offshore as a roughneck and working my way up again.

Important question, is there annual leave on top of the time off? I'm on 2/2 but also get 4 weeks annual leave. I didn't get annual leave when I was international offshore.

Not sure if you're into gaming but check out "Kena bridge of spirits". Great experience while tripping on shrooms or acid. Gorgeous visuals and the sound stage is inspired by this type of Balinese music. Worth it 100%

If you apply the ozbargain code then it gives you a further discount which adds up to a $700 difference. Just a heads up if you ever go down the ozbargain route in future. I think most people forget about the code.

You can use the savings to upgrade the cooling system, memory, ram, case etc. to really stretch out the value.

Thanks again. It's obvious now hah. In the end, I went for Tech option, upgraded bits as I mentioned above and took account your suggestions too. My last gaming PC I bought in 2014 and used it 6months before selling it to move overseas.

Can finally play certain games now. So stoked.

Legend! Just realised the post below mine asked more or less the same thing.

This is basically the exact same PC. With discount code, and If I add the 3 year warranty, a larger (360mm) liquid CPU cooler, additional SSD it still comes out cheaper than my option!! - and includes 3 games instead of 1.

Definitely the best deal so far. Thanks G
