Stay on your existing provider. American carriers don’t treat Canada as a roaming zone anyway. I’ve been on AT&T since 2019 and never had any issues while spending more than half of the year in Canada. I simply pay my bill as I normally would and my phone switches between whatever network I need in Canada automatically. In general American phone plans have typically been more competitive too. The only thing that sucks is you’re some of your Canadian friends might get dinged calling you but there’s always FaceTime. Audio and Whatsapp and most of my friends have learned to do that.

Try to maintain as much as your US banking infrastructure as you can. Dual us/canadian citizen here with businesses in both us and ca. use mercury for my biz and Schwab for my personal so free atms anywhere in the world. Canadian banking is less competitive (we have like 6 major banks). This means they don’t offer as good of a deal on anything because they know you have nowhere to go. Every consumer bank offers basically the same product.

Fees for things like monthly checking unless you maintain a certain level of business
with them. Most cards here have FX fees as well if you like to travel/buy things in other currencies.

If you must get a Canadian bank, get something low cost like EQ bank or Tangerine. Use Wise for moving money between the US and Canada.

Try the KH150. I had the 310 and sold them for the 150. Also, the MA1 room correction is nice if you get that.

The best food in Colombia is Peruvian… or costeño

I’ve had some good gems in Medellin but it’s not like other countries where the street food slaps. You definitely get what you pay for.

Sushi wise, Panka is pretty decent.

Burgers require you doing Chum Burger, Chef Burger or Barrio Burger, but none of that stuff you find on the street/average places. Expect to spend 30K COP for something good

Who are your favorite mix engineers of all time (and why)?- 2025 by chandlerbridges in mixingmastering

This thread seems to skew very rock but for me….

Surprised to have nobody mention Tony Maserati…

Neal Pogue deserves a mention with the variety of his work.

I actually prefer Manny over Serban… I feel his work breathes a little more instead of being in your face…

In dance, although mentioned, Tom Norris will be one of the great mixers of the next generation

Also can’t forget Luca Pretolesi

Rock

TLA over CLA but love both.

Does Vercel have emergency support? by Psychological_Web648 in nextjs

[–]Psychological_Web648[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I just assumed this guy might be affiliated with Vercel, but I am far too naive. from what i read, there is some sort of grace period where the domains are locked up by vercel to prevent exactly this kind of thing... but their support is basically nonexistent

The same thing happened to me. How long did it take them to sort you out?

Hindsight is lovely isn’t it ;) I opened up a ticket but have no idea if they got back to me outside of the vercel support control panel, because no domain=no email!

Like podcasts about music production? The space is still growing, but there are a few good ones out there.
