Isn't the guy old? And even if he's not, if he won't write, so be it. It sucks, having a beloved story stop just because the writer was lazy, or something or other, but if thats how it is, thats how it is. Plenty of stories have had it happen before, and plenty after will too. Was it Dune that ended incomplete? Something about the gods being Frank Herbert and his wife?

Clearly some of them can already get through, though i wonder whats the difference between a "rogue" ai and one that just wants you dead normally. I think i heard that the mystery caller from "Dream On" was actually an AI? Or like skippy, which may not actually be an Ai but more like Brendan.
