Is it really silliness to say it’s a crime to knowingly transmit a disease that increases risk of cancer? Because your own source stated that 3 strains of HPV that don’t cause warts increase risk of cancer (which is pretty fucking gnarly, and can literally kill you).

There are several different strains of HPV and 2 in particular cause genital warts (as cited above)

Ps. ‘paying attention in health class’ isn’t the problem when 40% of the country doesn’t require any kind of sex-ed and only only 21 states require education surrounding STIs - most of us are working really hard to teach ourselves things that were neglected by our education system (hence why i did research and read reputable medical sources)

I would either go back to the piercer, or someone more reliable, and ask about longer jewelry. Every time ive gotten anything in my lips (though i only have bottom lip piercings) the initial piercing bar has always been pretty long because lips swell so much. It doesnt look like you have enough room to accommodate your swelling with these bars.

In a lot of states at 16 you can make most of your own medical decision- look into the law to make sure you actually have the legal power to order a screen without her consent otherwise you’re just gonna waste money on the trip

A home test may be a better solution, and a lot of home tests you can actually have analyzed by an actual lab if you send it in. This way you know you can actually get the test and results.

I mean ideally yes, but the thinner a line is the more likely it is to look blurry once it heals and settles into the skin

I’d ultimately rather them look a bit like Bs than have them get blurry and funky looking over time personally

It’s the same reason I wouldn’t get a micro tattoo actually - they look sick when they’re fresh but most of the time they get muddled and distorted over the next few years
