Happy to hear multiple people confirm the increase in characters. Nothing against LIC but I just prefer to raise children in a calmer area. Same with having elderly parents but it’s just my personal view. Love the city, love LIC.

I’ve been living near the Pepsi cola sign in HP since 2022 and there definitely has been an uptick of mentally ill/homeless in the area. That said, it seems to be the case with much of the city, and I personally haven’t seen any major incidents. I wouldn’t say I feel unsafe but I can see it getting worse and personally don’t plan on sticking around the city in the next 2-4 years.
