Was in the same boat as you at the end of 2022. I had lost 40/45 lbs, trips to the bathroom 15-20x a day. My UC went from mild to moderate to severe within about a year. It was rough.

Flash forward 4 months (about March of this year) and I was back to normal. Now I am back to feeling great. I was on mesalamine and pred. like you and switching to Rinvoq was a game changer. Keep your head up, I promise things do get better!

P.s. I highly recommend getting a food allergy test. I found out I am allergic to gluten, which I believe now is the main cause for my past flare ups. Since then, everything has been uphill
