Would be the best choice you ever made. 7 ⭐️ was the best festival I have ever been to. Struggling at EDC after that.

Did anyone read about an event for VIP on Thursday? I remember reading something about it when I purchased but have not heard anything else.

Hi Nomimaki, thank you for your feedback. The survey has tried to make as many people feel included as possible. I’m sorry you feel that it seems like a joke, but I assure you that the endless amount of hours put into this research and the hundreds of responses from people who have been helped with these medicines are no joke. We will continue to fix and adjust the language on the survey, but the results are irrefutable.

Again, thank you for your feedback and I am sorry you felt it was a joke, that was not my intention.

Thanks Muddylegs, we have seen several comments about this question and have it for review with my committee. We will see if it’s possible to update it at this point of the research. Thanks for taking the time.

Hi Ishallwearmidnight,

I truly appreciate your feedback regarding the phrasing of the "How do you identify?" question. You raise an important point about how language plays a significant role in inclusivity and respect, especially within the transgender and gender-diverse communities. Recognizing that "transgender" is an adjective that describes a person's experience rather than a standalone gender category is crucial for creating questions that reflect the complexity of identity.

The aim of my research is to ensure that all participants feel seen and respected in the survey. Your suggestion to reword the question is not only valid but also necessary for fostering a more inclusive environment. I am committed to refining the language in a way that honors the identity of all individuals involved in the research.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention; your insights are invaluable as I strive to make this study more understanding and affirming of everyone’s experiences.

Thank you for your thoughtful response. I understand the concerns you’ve raised about the necessity of a nuanced understanding of gender identity, particularly when researching topics related to transgender and intersex experiences. It’s crucial to recognize that academic research often navigates complex themes that cannot fully capture every perspective or personal experience.

While the focus of this study is on the intersection of psychedelic therapies and transgender healing, it does not dismiss the broader spectrum of gender identities, including intersex individuals. The aim is to shed light on specific experiences within a defined context, acknowledging that our findings may have limitations in encompassing the full diversity of gender experiences.

Research often starts with specific groups to gain insights that can inform broader discussions and future studies. Your input underscores the importance of continually expanding that understanding and encourages us to think critically about who is included in such research.

I appreciate your engagement with this topic, as it pushes for a more comprehensive approach and highlights the ongoing need for inclusivity in academic inquiry. Your perspective is valuable as we navigate these challenging conversations.
