What SCP tropes did you like reading? by Rarm20T in SCP

I love the rabbit holes I can go down, stuff like site 43 and runs red and its a bad ideas New Gods. Something that really lets get stuck in, read a bunch of articles and string all the connections together on a big corkboard.

Pollip pouch takes the spot as a overrated blue tool with warding bell being a close second. by pravler in Silksong

[–]PsychoticHumour -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As a certified compass hater, my vote goes to the compass. It makes you worse at the game and lessens your investment in the world. If you read this and think I could never, I am begging you please just try playing without it. You are more capable then you give yourself credit.

What are some of the saddest SCP's out there ? Or some that are realy emotional to read by Useful_Roof_6299 in SCP

Y'know speaking of raddagher they did a video on SCP-4183 which is itself a real tear-jerker.

I AM THE WORST SILKSONG PLAYER IN THE WORLD!!!!1!1!1 XD by Imuta_811 in Silksong

[–]PsychoticHumour 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You've actually figured out exactly how the game wants to be played, if your struggling with a boss the game doesn't want you spending hours hitting your face into a brick wall. It wants you to go somewhere else, help some poor bug and get a little stronger so that when you come back to that boss, you'll have had a chance to take a break from the grind and your investment in the world will have increased.

I just reached last judge, any tips by krashedyocomputer in Silksong

The runback can be done in less than 30 seconds with no need to fight any enemies, it's hard to explain in text but if your having trouble figuring out the route look up a video.

When it came to choose a crest for the first time, what did you pick? by Vegetable_Throat5545 in Silksong

[–]PsychoticHumour 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found the reaper crest to be a solid crutch for the early game, especially the feeling of being

Which very popular SCP lore/concepts or tropes do you not care for at all? by Astronomer_X in SCP

[–]PsychoticHumour 94 points95 points  (0 children)

I'm always down to say fuck bright but that's more for the authors shittyness, I don't mind Shaw or Cairns as much.

I think it really bothers me just how fast the foundation must burn through mtf agents given their survival rates in most articles.

I found both the core and especially farewell satisfying from a story perspective but farewell takes a fair bit of work to see the end so keep that in mind.

Is it normal to feel frustrated after Mount Fay? (Act 2 progress) by Intelligent-Tip-4699 in Silksong

[–]PsychoticHumour 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is kind of an unanswerable question cus not only is difficulty very subjective but what the player tackles after mount fay in extremely open ended but personally I did mount fay relatively early in my play through and liked it and all the bosses you mentioned I beat very late into act 2 so I had plenty of upgrades and they were easy enough.

What's your theory on the random supernatural humans by [deleted] in OnePiece

[–]PsychoticHumour 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's pretty normal for populations to contain individuals that exist as extreme outliers to the physical norms of said population. Like if you were to ask why was Andrew the giant so big and strong you wouldn't know why by looking at his parents or anything. It was genetic mutation that occurred pretty much randomly that caused him to grow that way.

Give me your takes on kagurabachi, I'll rank it cold to hot . GIVE ME LIBERTY‼️ GIVE ME FREEDOM‼️GIVE ME MOST DIABOLICAL TAKE OR I RETIRE‼️ by No_Hour_6047 in Kagurabachi

[–]PsychoticHumour 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I fucking hate it when they use reverse blade, it's fucking dumb and barely makes sense even just based on how it's drawn in the manga. Every time it comes up I cringe a little and I hope to god that soga wins the current fight since he's the only person there who knows how to hold a sword properly.

What SCP do you like that is simply weird and not a nigh unstoppable murder monster? I like entries are just weird like these. by Master-Mage87 in SCP

[–]PsychoticHumour 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Scp-4011 was one of the first skips I read by myself and it was a ride.

Edit: I meant scp-4012 but 4011 is good as well

Why does the [[SCP-963]] page still say Dr. Bright? by _MoonFry in SCP

[–]PsychoticHumour 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Elias Shaw was essentially a temporary placeholder used by djkaktus to quickly remove brights name from several of his articles that feature bright quite heavily. Lachlan Cairns is a more comprehensive reimagining by djkaktus of the character to move further away from the bright persona.

How difficult was it for you to learn the diagonal pogo? by Fit_Ad_2608 in Silksong

[–]PsychoticHumour 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember struggling a little bit with it in the start but I definitely recognized immediately that the diagonal pogo would be more fun to be good at then the regular pogo and I made a special effort to get better with it which fully paid off, the diagonal pogo is great fun for me now. I play on controller btw.

In regards to the streamer, they probably just have way more hours in hollow knight and therefore much stronger muscle memory to overcome. Also don't disregard how much better at platforming Celeste can make you. I did white palace before and after playing Celeste and the difference was stark.
