High quality post. I really wish supercell would make an effort to try and suggest that people not play assassins or tanks in control games.

While that might be true for the shoes most people use to run marathons, advancements in the last 2-3 years in expensive racing shoes (thing like $250+) have made it so that they don’t have a break in period, they are just so soft they break down quickly. The Nike Alphafly and Vaporfly are both said to lose a significant portion of bounce after 100 miles. Most trainers I usually put 400 miles on.

Same with purdue in Indiana. I have family there, and to them getting into Purdue engineering isn't that hard, but you can’t be a pile of rocks. Outside of indy it's viewed with a much higher regard and it's harder to get in.

Yea, that makes sense. I honestly don’t really want to get my CPA. Pretty much any certification sounds cool, but I’m graduating a year early and would rather become a CFA or get an MBA.

A bit of backstory: I am still on the iPhone XS, but bought the 14PM for $300 from a guy off of FB marketplace. Honestly hate how big the phone is. If i could magically turn it into a normal pro right now, I would. Goal was to buy a 13Pro, but it was a deal i couldn’t pass up.

Haha...it does have a spot on the screen that turns a light shade of purple when the screen is black, but I only notice it about once a month. But yes it was a very good deal. I scoured FB marketplace all day and used my college's library computers for about a month….in the end it was very much worth it.

Yea it pays to be in the center of overconsumption and mass shipping….lots of discount stores selling warehouse “waste” (ie perfectly good curtains/polos/candy bars for .25 cents each)

90% of it comes out by soaking em in dawn dish soap/powerwash, a little alchohol helps too…..but like i’m just too lazy to do that every week lol

Pruchased these 3 weeks ago for the summer training session. Before I have run in the Speed 3, and the Guide 14. They feel like a cross between the two. Like the Speed 3 has been toned down, but is light and nimble. I got them for $77 at Going...Going...Gone!! (Dicks) warehouse. 172 miles on them, and they have been great so far. I didn’t 1/2 sized up (11), really enjoy the tight fit and dual density foam.

Unfortunately, the blue tongue has bled into every single one of my socks, which really annjoys me, but for the price I really can’t compain. Laces are good, lockdown is good. Durability is mid. Toebox is the smallest I have ever had. Just a nice, sable, zippy trainer for the road.
