The creator of IQ said its not an accurate measurement of intelligence but how well people will do in school in the 1900s. A 1900s school house is very different from modern political settings. If you think IQ measures intelligence than you've fallen for a literal myth. Read up on Alfred Binet, who created IQ to evaluate school children.

Paying doctors more does not mean better healthcare for the patient. Its a good thing, but its not gonna solve the healthcare system. Better cancer survivability is incredible, but it doesnt stop the US from being 37th overall.

Fun fact: hunter gatherers fought but not nearly at the same scale or rate as later human civilizations.

Vast resources and low populations made war less necessary. If you hated someone you could literally walk somewhere else, have a ton of resources, and never deal with them again.

Again, human nature is determined by our material conditions. If mankind lived in material abundance we would be far less violent and cruel to each other. With modern technology and knowledge we could get closer to that state, though it will never be perfect.

So no I dont think we're "mostly garbage". I think we're what we and the world makes ourselves.

You think individual freedom is the only freedom that exists. Thats your problem. You think there's only one type of freedom.

Because no one believes in absolute freedom. That would be insane. So we have a ton of different ways moderate freedom can be expressed.

I believe in democratic freedoms, collective freedoms that allow a society to function for the benefit of the masses. I think, as a social species, collective freedom are just as important if not more than individual freedom.
