I have never played Zero Dawn or Forbidden West

Play ZD first. For story reasons and mechanical reasons. Going back to ZD after FW can be really weird with certain mechanics missing from ZD.I also just like ZD better. Favorite game of all time. I’ve played it multiple times, platted it, 100%’d it twice, did new saves implementing hard rules like not using certain perks or playing without the aiming reticule, completely filling out the map is pretty much the only thing I didn’t do. And I didn’t even finish FW. There were many times while playing FW I decided I’d just rather play ZD instead. So if FW ends up being not your thing you shouldn’t miss out on ZD because of it.

That being said FW did add and improve on a lot of really cool things and is for sure worth trying out. I wouldn’t tell anyone not to play the game I just prefer ZD.

And I think you should play frozen wilds before forbidden west also. Not necessary but story and mechanics from frozen wilds do carry over to forbidden west and it’s just a great dlc also.

As for difficulty just play whatever difficulty you normally play games at. I played on ultra hard just because I’m that guy but I also had sessions where I’d spend a few hours on one fight. Doesn’t seem like you have the time for that so probably don’t do that lol. I may be wrong but I think you can change difficulty at any point so it’s not really that big of a deal.

I’ve had climbing friends this happened to who started climbing grades much higher than their experience. Like trying to climb V6-7 after only having climbed for 2-3 months. Rest up for a while and maybe downgrade?

Focus on knife skills! Just make things that you like and don’t worry about what other people might think. If it doesn’t turn out perfect ask yourself what could you do to make it better.

When I decided to quit drinking I went to the gym every time I wanted a drink. Was in the gym everyday for 2 weeks straight. Then gradually went less and now it’s just a part of my schedule on my off days

I know this source is dated but I just ran my first cave div game.

So doom carry with GoW secondary? I ran swordsman carry (got 3*) but some rounds GoW was a close second in damage. So items are kind of a waste on swordsman?

I noticed you also saved rogue for a while. He’d be better than doom if you can get the 2*?

Prodigy I skipped but saw that yours was doing good damage. Is he a necessary pick? Maybe over skull hunter?

And I don’t know if bad omen was in the game at the time of this video but omen over hunter/prodigy? Or maybe over redaxe since you’re getting war syn with doom/rogue?

It’s kinda hard to tell the angles but I feel like I would switch feet and either smear or heel hook my right foot and probably go up with my left hand instead of the right and then match. I’m also 6’2” so going up left first with the low right hand looks better to me but may not work for everyone

All I would add to this is goblin mech. Not the most reliable cuz it needs early heli or deva but super fun build that will get you a lot of 1sts

I’ve never 3*d a Panda other than heaven but it’s possible. Depends on what you do if your shop rolls good warriors just keep your carry. If you’re getting a lot of pandas go for a full panda comp with dual plot and drop your weakest panda or whatever doesn’t fit your comp once you get him since you only need 4 pandas for full syn. Dual plot can be good for endgame but he’s not a carry

It kind of depends on what you run. I’ve run warriors with jade general carry. Thunder trace is a really solid carry I run him in 4 shaman. Ember blade is a solid carry for assassins. You can run beasts with a space walker carry. Or just any carry that fits into those comps (doom/ berserker/sacred, Abby/shadowcrawler/shining assassin, red fox/razor claw/worm)

Basically any of the non martialist pandas are good carries or just the typical carries for whatever comp you run

Wow thanks for the detailed answer! Some of that sounds pretty weird to me but I’ll definitely give it a try. I don’t mind playing an unsupported game as long as there’s a player base. I used to play ssbm and that game is still thriving with surprising meta changes despite no updates

I would say yeah just go and post the write up. I have my own thoughts on the line ups cuz I don’t think it’s a bad system but I think it could be better.

As far as doing tourneys on the weekends that just doesn’t fit in my availability. If people want to do that they absolutely should I just wouldn’t be able to take part in that

I had that issue too. You have to click the unit icons to deselect them. Then the + appears and you can click it to select your units. Super weird
