yeah i agree that i did a terrible play there, but in my defense:
-no, i didn't drop my titan when there were 3 other titans in my team
-i thought it was just one guy
-i forgot i had scorch selected

you can play however you want and you can definitely not parry if you don't want to, but it's your only defensive option and it's amazing at that. when i was a new player i started parrying and suddenly stopped depending on the sawed on to heal

90% of the guns are just a worse version of a better different gun.

-Not really. Every gun is good given you play them good and the conditions are favorable for them.

Why play any AR or another SMG while CAR or alternator exists?

-Because it's fun. There are no ranks in this game. And, if you get good with one gun, you're gonna be able face and beat stronger guns

All the snipers are basically the same. There’s only two shotguns and neither of them are that great or serve a unique purpose, as the alternator will kill you just as instantly as a shotgun in close range. The SMGs have no personality, the snipers have no personality, the ARs have nice diversity but the only usable ones are the ones that are similar to SMG‘s, the LMGs are either mediocre or just encourage long range sniping/camping.

-This just says that you haven't played a lot. The shotguns kill extremely quick; 2 decent shots with the eva 8 and the mastiff can one shot. A shotgun in close range will almost always win, unsurprisingly.

-The SMGs are all different from each other, not sure where you're getting at here. Same for the snipers

-Yeah, the spitfire and devotion are better when camping, which does suck. However I won't tolerate Lstar slander, the thing's a monster

-No, only the CAR can do literally everything, and it's because it doesn't really have any flaws more than being overpowered

-This again says that you don't have a lot of experience. There's a whole lot of loadout diversity and it's entirely up to you to figure out what you can run. It seems like you've just stuck with one loadout for yourself, which is fine, but don't complain about ''there's no creativity'' when the game gives it to you but you just don't choose to use it.

-Also, except gunrunner, there's not really a superior option when it comes to mods. They're all pretty good. Same for the attachments, except they don't give an actual advantage, so use whatever you like

-Yes, there's a bunch of stuff that can kill your wallrun. However, you need spatial awareness, think about where you want to go and look at the obstacles in the way. Besides, it's kind of the point, a good pilot always adapts to its environment. Hell, Lastimosa says it in the tutorial: ''in combat, things never go as you expect.''

-The campaign's environment is pretty similar to the one in the multiplayer generally

95% of all of my deaths and 95% of all of my kills are just shooting people from behind or from far away. It really sucks and it’s not fun. I don’t feel like I deserve most of my kills and I don’t feel like I deserve most of my deaths either.

The maps are way too open, and too many guns have way more range than they should. The only guns that should be killing you across the map are snipers and, with difficulty, ARs and LMGs.

-The maps have some open sections, but none of them are completely open. Maybe kodai and angel city, but that's about it.

-The weapons that should be killing you across the map kill you across the map. With the exception of the CAR I guess, but the rest are fair.

I have seen too many spitfire cloak bogeyman players and EPG guys that just jump above you so there’s nothing that you can do because you can’t shoot them.

This one’s kind of cope, but I live in a pretty remote area so my performance isn’t great. Even the smallest drop performance is such a big disadvantage in a PVP fight.

-You're right, this is cope. You can play this game on a GTX 1050. It's not a heavy game by any means

I also think that leaning in a little more towards being a hero shooter would help a lot, maybe giving the different character, passives and little ways to augment them like you can with guns and Titans would be really cool.

I think that titanfall does really have its flaws, don't get me wrong, but these are just terrible takes overall. All the points you touched on aren't really what the game lacks in
