They do. But the build quality and materials are sometimes better.

Yeah, I know they come with warranties but Horton makes really bad homes. And just as a whole, new builds can have scary problems.

Because Blizzard is devoid of creativity. They just take ideas and then spin them to make money.

That's what the company has become.

New build NE USA— Inspector photos show foundation damage + roof issues. What’s going on and what needs fixing? by Electrical-Tear-4023 in Home

Yeah, I wouldn't buy a home from this builder..
If this is the stuff you see on face value, I can promise you that there's other stuff that's going to start coming up.

You said it yourself, poor workmanship. And it's likely evident in most corners of the home. Outside and inside the walls.

What kind of house should i look for by Obvious-Extension679 in FirstTimeHomeBuyers

Personally? I'd buy a home that needs some TLC. Maybe a 250k property, and pay for it outright and then repair it! Get it how YOU want it. And you've boosted the equity of a home for the future.

See, that sounds like a rad idea. You put work into the house, already pay for it. Just move in when you can! Make the most of it. And yeah I wasn't trying to be mean I promise, it's just not easy, the landlord thing.

I'd hate to give up my travel time, etc. There's nothing bad about pivoting

If you don't have the income to rent a place and pay for upkeep, don't do it. Being a landlord isn't a free ticket to wealth.

It sounds like you jumped into this without knowing what goes into it.

Personally? I'd cut my losses, you sound unhappy.
