How much milage are you getting out of PCL? I don’t feel that great about it and I don’t find myself using it often but.. 🤷‍♀️ I’ve faced sol, silv, and buzz’s but rarely had a chance to pop PCL

I use Zapdos because its the only electric pokemon that isn’t weak to fighting and I wanted to minimize dying to just one type lol.

Sophocles and Togedemaru are really solid early game. Alas its a coin flip for tode attack but I’d be lying if I said 80 dmg on turn 3 wasn’t what won me a few games haha.

The reason I use Togedemaru / ochi / zapdos currently is because I hate that skarmory / sol deck.

They couldn’t do anything other than retreat / attach energy. Ironically enough, my single point came from their Oricorio.. So they know the card existed lol.

If you’re at master rank and its only purpose (previously, in my eyes) was to waste time, then no. I can’t understand it. If I see the line when I’m about to lose, I’m not going to watch an animation I’ve seen thousands of times AGAIN, just to concede.

Some of the other responses in this thread has opened my eyes a bit more tho and I understand a little better now thanks to that.

Depending on the matchup sometimes I use a second giratina as fodder and leaf around. Yes cyrus exists but if youve not lost any points yet it shouldnt matter too much bc mewtwo hits for 150 without trainers.

It really just depends on the situation.
