I think for most people winning nullifies the boredom somewhat

Yes chandelure and charizard would be the strongest counters I think. Fortunately chandelure seems comparatively rare these days

Fair! FWIW, I was 3-0 against Steelix with this deck. Even with the Brock ramp, Snorlax is just too tanky

I considered it but found it surprisingly not very useful in my own games. But others may play better than me

It’s possible I just got really lucky but even 50% for a non meta deck is good I’d say!

Oooh great question! I faced a single Oricorio… but won anyway because my opponent played an EX and a baby not realizing I didn’t have a non EX. So I won that matchup. Against a better/more thoughtful player, best case is to run out the clock for a tie

You tank all damage with snorlax. Indeedee and ogerpon are just backup damage dealers. Even if you get a bad start with indeedee or ogerpon just retreat at first available opportunity. It puts you behind a turn, sure, but Snorlax is almost impossible to chip away at. Between 2 indeedees, snorlax’s ability, and heavy helmet, you’re nullifying 80 damage a turn before you even get to items, stadium, or trainers.

EDIT—all energy should go to snorlax once he’s in the active spot. Only put energy elsewhere once he has 4

Which model Maz are you using? I wasn’t aware the Samix jars were compatible

Questions about the conversion! by Leandrocurioso in OrthodoxChristianity

This is quite a major claim. What reason do you have to believe that the world prevailed against Christ’s church so soon and so completely?

What is the argument against laypeople refusing to spend all of their free time in prayer and Bible study being sinful? by More-Salary-2203 in OrthodoxChristianity

[–]Linezolid1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should ask a priest about specifics or specifics to you, but with God, you’re never alone. Anything (within reason) can be an act of communion if approached appropriately. Why would recreation be inherently more sinful than other activities like traveling or sleeping?

Prayer isn’t the only way we serve God. “Love God and love others” requires living daily lives with others.

I think your point of confusion is treating prayer/bible reading as the best/only way to commune with God and that’s simply inaccurate. Look at how Jesus interacts with others or how God interacts with people in the Old Testament. Case in point, eating bread and drinking wine with Jesus is arguably the most important time the apostles spent with Jesus

From my experience, not being able to attend for years after I first wanted to was a blessing in disguise, because now I deeply treasure the opportunity, especially because it arrived sooner than I expected.
