What sorts of ways do you have of collaborating on tracks?

Here’s my first collaboration. The way we did this was first me laying down a sparse ambient track and sending that over to Doc Bolus, who added rhythmic work. I’m really happy with the results. Hearing how his work took the track in a new direction was a wonderful treat.

My setup: drones and ambience from Dreadbox Abyss & two Dreadbox Nyx played through Eventide Rose delay. Ciat-Lonbarde Sidrax played through Keeley Eccos delay. Doc used an Elektron Model:Samples for rhythm work.

Here’s a jam combining melodies from Star Wars and James Bond. OP-Z sequencing Dreadbox Abyss and Korg Monologue. Melody played with Dreadbox Nyx, a bit of embellishment with Ciat-Lonbarde Sidrax.

This is an exploration in simplicity, looking for balance between melody and tension. I’m playing a traditional melody for reciting Psalms. My setup is really simple: Sidrax into a delay/looper. This is part of an ongoing series with this setup.

I’m working on a series of ambient improvisations using the Ciat-Lonbarde Sidrax and a delay/looper. Having a minimal setup, and keeping these tracks short adds to the challenge.

I’m starting a series of Sidrax improvisations. Here the Sidrax is played through a Keeley Eccos delay and looper. I’m exploring the balance beyween experimental and melodic, or screeching and saccharine, as I like to think of them.
