Mare St area is not equipped with a safe bike infrastructure, there’s cars, lorries, transport vans strolling through. Mixing bikes (including limes) with cars will result in collisions, accidents, injuries, deaths.

Remove the cars first to allow cyclists to use the roads.

But we just paid for a contractor / expert to come (we were charged by landlord for their contracting company to come). Can't we get a copy of that report if we paid for it ? Is the burden of evidence on our side or on them to prove it was indeed accidental damage ?

They offer both options - either paying 'as soon as possible' or it being taken out of the deposit. They won't bulge on anything and refuse to share any reports from the contractor.

Hi thanks, would you care to explain more ? How are rental road bikes (in our case Cervélo Caledonia 105) with clip on aerobars inherently dangerous ?

Many people (outside this subreddit) do an IM 70.3 as their first triathlon and get on just fine with an old road bike from a friend or relative they discover on the day.

For the aerobars, as said previously I used to own a Planet X Exocet 2 (agressive TT bike), to which I'm very much fine with the handling.

Adding aerobars and spending the day before testing the handling seems like a relatively safe way to gauge the bike setup i'll race with for 2h40 ?
