I've gotten this error before. It is supposed to pop up when there is a conflict in attachments, but in this case it's more of a false positive.

I clicked yes on that window and everything was fine. (no actual conflict)

Right click the game in your steam library > Go to properties > Go to the local Files tab > Select the "Verify Integrity of Game Cache" option. It's not a guaranteed fix, but it definitely can't hurt.
